Our sweet Jesus is the official “Creative Director & Writer” of the Anchored Press Planner and He gets all of the glory for it. One day He stirred my heart for all of you women who spend more time focusing on the needs of others, and very little time focused on growing your soul.
Owning a stationery business for three years, while professionally satisfying, brought me little ‘soul growth’ and God little glory. This fact led me to start writing devotions during my morning quiet time. Two months passed by and I had written over a hundred devotions! God gave me the words and I didn’t know why. But then the doors started opening, one after another. At this same time, I really needed a one-stop spot for everything that kept me organized, and my family running smoothly. Over the years, I have turned my day planner into a place to keep my schedule, devotional, prayer journal, meal plan, goals and memory keeping in one tidy place. Well, let me rephrase, one busting at the seams “tidy” place. All that I added into my tool to keep me organized, actually made it appear and feel as if I wasn’t organized at all. So through lots of prayer, and being obedient to walk through the doors God was opening for me, The Anchored Press Devotional Planner came to life. The Anchored Press Devotional Planner was designed to keep your life organized and keep you anchored in your daily walk with God. I believe a full plate does not mean you have to sacrifice the things that have an Eternal impact in your life. My heart's mission is to help you carve out time to put God first so that you don’t miss out on all He has planned for you.
Meet DEANA
A quick little peek into who I am and what I love. I am Deana. I am a daughter of our Heavenly Father. I am Greg’s wife and Madelyn’s mama. I am the creator of The Anchored Press Planner. I am a So Cal girl who just recently (June 2019) followed a call on our family's heart to move to Oregon! I love my quiet time with God, family time, deep friendships, the beach, my adorable labradoodle, music, peonies, and traveling. I get teary over kids coming to Jesus, have a heart for orphans and I could live off of chips & salsa (and a Starbucks iced green tea!). What about you? I would love to get to know you and how the Anchored Press Devotional Planner has kept you both organized and anchored in God’s Word.
